Cabbage salad with nuts and raisins (Cypriot)


Ingredients:

½ medium size cabbage

2 -3 stalks of celery

1 onion finely chopped

¾ cup of walnuts cut in big pieces

2 spoonfuls of raisin

1 lemon zest and juice

1 small mayonnaise

2 spoonfuls of olive oil

1 spoonful of wine vinegar

1 small spoonful of mild mustard

Salt, pepper, paprika

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Finely cut cabbage (see tip) and add all other ingredients except for paprika which sprinkle on top. This salad can be preserved in refrigerator for 3 – 4 days as is just as good as the first day.
